time seems to slow down so much when you are expecting something in the near future...
i really think it does...ryan and i have just moved out of the 16 floor, and we have basically become nomadic. Time just seems to count down so freaking slowly before our journey. We plan to leave taiwan and fly to Myanmar on Feb. 12th, but we have been ready for the trip for two months.... our packing is done, and sitting at the corner for a while, we said goodbye to the apartment we rented almost a week ago, i have done my health check (healthy heathy healthy ;), and i had my hair cut today in preparation for the hot weather over the next four months...oh even our visas for the countries we need are done.......
One thing that's killing me is that ryan and i haven't done working yet, and time just won't pass faster. I have to admit that i've been a pretty impatient teacher lately...i probably peek at my watch 3 millon times before the class is over...man is it ever hard to teach this way... (sorry to my kids :\)
my heart started beating like crazy about two weeks ago, i'm like a chicken running all over the place without a head now. not only do i feel that time has stopped ticking for me but the town, the food even the people have lost interest for me...
does that always happen? expecting a big journey is pretty cool, but all the waiting is not fun at all!

Mm...popcorn! there's just something about popcorn that obsesses me. Only sweet and buttered popcorn though... maybe it always reminds me a nice layback saturday or sunday night with a great movie..i really can't tell what it is that makes me always crave for a big paper cup of popcorn, and sometimes i'd even go to a movie with my friends just because i can hold that big cup of popcorn with me (maybe even better with a warm half-sugared green tea ;) ), even though i might not like the movie at all. yeah, i'm hopeless....
And oh my green tea, my life-long addiction. imagine some people can't wake up without a cup of hot coffee. with me, it would be my green tea! strangely, i didn't like green tea all that much when i first tasted it years ago....but somehow, don't know exactly how, i have become addicted to it and got to have it everyday so i can start my whole day not being retarded! well, i guess my relationship with green tea is a must rather than an obsession now, and just like many beer drinkers who often didn't like their first bite of it but then ...
so, i decided that my blog will be called "popcorn and green tea"...just a little insight i had when ryan and i had dinner tonight! I think ryan's right this really does capture my character more! :)
