our last day in Chiang Rai, or to be exact, the last day in Thailand.
it's 1:03 pm in the after now, and so far we have only managed to return the motorcycle we rented yesterday. (Poor ryan who tried so hard the whole morning to find this S.T. bike rental place only found out, it was actually named: SOON)

So that's done, we were heading for our mission for today: finding a hardcover notebook as a travel journal for me. (okay, i was just a little jealous that every time we are sitting down in a cafe, Ryan's always writing his diary..oopps, i mean journal which's got many cool stickers on. Natually i want one, too!)

The mission for far is "failed". We have looked almost every possible stationary shop for it. Yet, NONE! All they could say was "No have, no have..."

Oh well, maybe we will get lucky later. Finger crossed! i really miss writing and drawing.

One last thing, i finally conquered my fear of eating fried rice. I ate it at dinner yesterday and that was delicious...just that i was ordering "Baked Rice" instead of fried rice..ha ha!

Location: varies.....somewhere in very northern Thailand now, somewhere close to what's called the "golden triangle"
Job: ~less.
Hobby: stay in during 12:00 pm-3:00, chill with some ice lemon tea...mm...
Mood: ~dy. but varies as well...

Nothing really changes, as we travel north to northern Thailand and eventually go into Laos, the weather can still be biting hot, toilets are still squatters...Only! only that more and more people speak thai to me and even think funny that I'm not Thai...which i can never answer their "whys"...Maybe this is what i NEED!

Just thought i'd write something about my profile, which is not that "correct" at this moment. Traveling can really change a person.

sitting in a internet cafe again,
the strange tiring still haunting me
like an annoying buzzing fly around my head...
feeling bit hungry, the food in the gloomy market smelled good...
looks like it's gonna rain big like last night again...
"what day is it?" so funny same all simple question,
yet ryan and i seem always have problem to figure that one out.
Chiang Rai.....just feels a little different!

The last thing i want to write tonight is what Ryan just wrote...Sigh, i probably won't have any fried rice with egg (my safe food since i've been on the road traveling) and sprite again for a LONG while.... and, oh, it was a tough lesson about what's called "hitting the wall"! i'll live.

i am in the little town called Lop Buri,
one of the short stops on the way to Chiang Mai, Thailand.
just a moment ago, a monkey sat on the roof near this internet cafe caught my eye...
and i was just thinking how challenging
and how scary at the same time when you wake up realize
that you you on a bumpy bus heading to the middle of nowhere...

I am sitting in an internet cafe now near the ?Famous? khao san road. Still in a complete shock by the fact that I feel home and I can check my emails again after our three-week trip of Myanmar.

We arrived from Yangon to Bangkok yesterday, felt like we just flew from a ancient time to the future...

I guess there's no need here to talk about Khaosan, and Bangkok, for who hasn't been here before except the red necks like iris and Ryan...Ha...

today we were actually lost in the weekend market, lost in this city literally. Tomorrow who knows where are going to find ourselves again...:P

I have been such a lazy blog writer, and will continue to be so I think....

I'm still shocked that we are able to call home and use internet now. Forgive me!
