We took a weekend off without planning anything, no vacations, no rushes and detinations.
Without knowing what direction to go, we went up the Coastal Range with Ryan's new motorcycle. We stopped at the end of the road as it climbed as high as it could go.
When the engine was turned off, nothing could be heard but the wind and trees.
It felt really nice when the cool sea breezes brushed through my face. I wish all weekends could be like this. Sometimes "nothing" means more than the emptiness it conveys.

Slowly and unexpectedly, Hualien streets are turning into a more relaxing place. I pulled my scooter over on the way home from work to take these shots. A new fountain! Hey! A nice city should always have a fountain or some sort of hang out space for people (and their dogs ) to sit, relax and chat, especially on a hot summer evening. Check this out! ( ;
